Installing Subversion on SuSE SLES 10 Yet AgainIf you are on this page, I'm assuming you have already visited my previous article on the same topic. I'm trying to install subversion again on SuSE SLES 10 and I noticed that the locations of files are changes on the openSuse server. Here is the latest experience ;) |

Embed fonts in EPS/PDFSome publishers require all fonts to be embedded in the EPS/PDF files before you submit your paper for review. This "naive" request can cause quite some trouble. |

Spell-checking LaTeX documentsI do most of my typing in LaTeX using Kile in Ubuntu. However the default state of the current spell-checker is not the greatest. It takes too much of my time trying to correct all the LaTeX commands, comments etc. If you are not scared of the commandline aspell can do this in terminal window, quite successfully. |

Editing EPS files in UbuntuI prepare my papers in LaTex and I like to keep my figures in EPS format. Quite often I need to edit couple things here and there, and for that purpose I use Inkscape. However it can not import EPS files directly. So here is how I open EPS files in Inkscape. |
