Pangea Day

I actually didn't hear about the Pangea Day before. While I was doing my daily browsing on the web, I came across with it today. It is a day for worldwide recognition of love within us through film making.

Here is an excerpt from the Pangea Day website, about how it all started:

In 2006, filmmaker Jehane Noujaim won the TED Prize, an annual award granted at the TED Conference. She was granted $100,000, and more important, a wish to change the world. Her wish was to create a day in which the world came together through film. Pangea Day grew out of that wish.

I especially loved these two movies, and I am sure you will have others that you like:

A Thousand Words - Ted Chung

Papiroflexia - Joaquin Baldwin
