Doris v4.01 is out

Friends at TU Delft released the latest version of Doris. This version has many new features including support for TerraSAR-X.

 There are some important changes to the input files as far as I can see. Below is a list that I had to change for my projects:

• Coherence
  •  COH_METHOD: The method used to be called "OLD", now you have two options: "refphase_only" (old) OR "include_refdem"
• New Processes M_SIMAMP, M_TIMING, RELTIMIN, DEMASSIST
  • These allow to solve for timing errors with the help of an external DEM. I used to struggle with this a lot. It is great to see that this is included in this release. 
• New Script construct_dem.sh
  
  • This script creates a combined dem for the given coordinates using the SRTM data.
  • It requires NAWK. If you don't have it (like me) a symbolic link to gawk works fine.
  • It automatically generates the input parameters required for the following processes: Sim_Amplitude, DEM Assist, and ReferenceDEM
  • It works fast, generates the inputs automatically. Great script ;)
• CompRefDem
  • Does not have the CRD_DENSE option anymore.
